I tried installing OpenMRS using Tomcat 6 , it worked fine , no errors were produced . I think there is some compatibility issue with Tomcat 7 . Moreover , the source code was rendered perfectly , unlike in the case of tomcat 7 (refer issue - https://tickets.openmrs.org/browse/TRUNK-2637 ).
