Yes, I'm opposed. We've scheduled this topic for Wednesday's design call, we
can decide after the discussion. Hope you can be there, Mark.

If you've got your svn username and password configured in your maven
settings.xml, you should just be able to do a mvn release:prepare and it will
prompt you for the version number and then handle incrementing it and tagging
it for you:

Subject: [OPENMRS-DEV] Anyone opposed to releasing the current Web Services
code as version 0.9?

Hi All,

I wanted to release an alpha of the Reporting REST module, and I realized that
I can't do that because we haven't released a recent version of the base REST
web service module.

Does anyone see a reason not to release the current RESTWS code as 0.9?

(And remind me, to release a maven module, I just have to do a clean update,
set the right version in pom.xml, and do mvn deploy, and upload to the module
repo, right?)

-Darius
