BTW:
As old releases cannot be deleted from "dist" and moved to the archive
when they are outdated - because they are already in the archive ;-) -
the alternative solution stated by Henk doesn't work here.
So, don't we need to switch to
"http://archive.apache.org/dist/openoffice/"; here as well?

I don't see anything missing. The archive is obviously meant for
archival and not for distribution, but it already contains everything we
released so far.
