I agree to you in general but first of all we should not act like prima
donnas.

Rob started the thread with the completely wrong wording. Where he was
not wrong in general and I would tend to agree that such comments and
the state of the issue are confusing.

Pedro who signaled first that he is not subscribed to the list (normally
I would ignore a committer who is not subscribed) answered in a way that
it was clear too most of the readers where this thread will end :-(

Two strong characters, two person who have never met in person, two
individuals who both want to bring the project forward. But also two
person where obviously some conflict potential is in between for
whatever reason.

Regarding the state of this issue and the fact that it is still in the
database. This is only a theoretical fact and the issue if once marked
as won't fix will never ever be noticed in the huge amount of open
issues. We should be of course careful and if we change the state we
should give at least a more descriptive comment.

I wish that people calm down a little bit and take things not too
personal. We should all think first and should filter posts in some way
to extract the real facts.

We can and should give always advice and hints if we think that
something goes wrong or can be done better. But let us do this in a way
that is less offensive and more friendly.
