Yes, requesting the feed itself should work again since AOO 4.1.8.

That's the real issue. The feed (at least for the English dictionary) is
outdated.
I think there was a Drupal update maybe in 2017?

This would be discussed with SourceForge. Personally I have no time to
do so...
