many thanks for Your hint with changing the mirror by
pressing the button.

In that way I have selected another mirror, and downloaded
the 2 compressed files:

- One for the full installation and
- the other for german language

After downloading the 2 compressed files [file].tar.gz
to my computer, I unpacked it in the installation folder,
opened the terminal-window, changed to the directory, where the rpm-files are
in,
and then, I tried again to install OpenOffice-4-1-16 by typing:

sudo rpm -Uvih *rpm....

The installation failed again!

Here I send You the original messages I got - in German language.

I haven't heard about such a problem after switching the download mirrors. Then the download and installation worked fine.

I'm pretty sure it's not in the files as then more users would report such problems.

Maybe you have the chance to use a more public mode in your browser and not the private mode? And not together with TOR?
Or another browser?
Or you have another OS like Windows on your computer or a second computer to test?

Have others more hints that could help?

Thanks

Marcus

Hello Wolfgang,

I've downloaded a second ago and haven't seen a problem. So, in general
it's working.

When you have problems with specific mirror servers then just change
them. On the SourceForge webpage there is a grey "Problems Downloading?"
button. Just click on it and choose a different mirror from the popup
dialog.

on my system I use with great success already OpenOffice, Version 4.1.1.5.
While using it, I got the hint, there is a new version available: Version
4.1.1.6.

Several times since then I downloaded it. But every time I have got the message:
"Prüfsumme stimmt nicht" "Checksum not correct".
