It seems to be fixed. I interrupted saving a long document and both the
previously saved document was not deleted and the modified was maintained (AOO
did not crash and allow me to save somewhere else)
Allocating space for the temporary copy is what other Office programs (and others) do. I do not see any situation where this would not be acceptable.
Thank you for fixing this! I had ocasional data loss in the past while saving
to a remote shared drive on a very slow connection (the solution was to restart
from a previous backup).
great! then i think this is ready to be merged.
Of course all other reports are reviewed if you test other things:
X86:

1) The Python error message of the x86 build on Windows 10 has improved to "The
scripting language Python is not supported"
noted will look into this one.
2) The x86 installer no longer runs on Windows 7
This is a bigger topic. AOO i think does not work without a python
version. I did nothing yet. I want to give the discussion some time too.
Feedback from Damjan, Dave and Jim would be nice. Or every one else.
All the best,
Pedro
