I tend to disagree. More than 600 content pages, and ~18,000 page
edits speak for themselves, I hope:

At least the barriers for entry are far lower than on the CVS-based
OOo main site.

Sure - the wiki is no silver bullet. But the wish to provide
wiki-based specs came from code contributors themselves - all else
being equal, why shouldn't we do it?
