Your OOo will die as soon as Basic is accessed the first time. This may be when a document is created or earlier, it depends on the configuration. So it is possible that you experience a differnt misbehavior of OOo than most other users did. You can verify this by cleaning the user/uno_packages directory before starting OOo. If you can open documents after doing this, you have been hit by Issue 94240.
