[dev] Stderr in OOo Windows?

Hi all,

is it possible to have OOo 3.x display anything on stderr? It does use 
stderr in Linux, so why not in Windows? Is there any command-line switch 
or compilation pragma?

Thanks for any pointers. I'd love to have it for debugging.
