Thats not how it works in _any_ OSS project. If you would stomp into #gentoo, #debian or #ubuntu and request your personal itch to be scratched you would be laughed out the door. Finally, I do not like statements implying "You are at Sun and thus not part of the community.". Actually, that is quite an unfair discrimination.
