You can't. If you want to create an install set, you have to build everything. Later, if you want to work on a specific module, you can actually remove others. But it will work only as far as you do only compatible changes and I strongly discourage you to do it. Out of curiosity: is there really an SW project that is able to handle removal of part of it's source tree during build? And build (and install) just that which remains?
