These last two are actually very related, and mostly related to
Andi and my work - basically we now index calendar items in each
calendar. That this essentially moved the work done in the startup
code, which iterated all items in a calendar, and amortized that
work into one-time indexing during the import.
Are the indexes being built up incrementally, or at the end of the
import?
