Scrooge build failing?

I'm seeing build failures locally when I get to parquet-scrooge. Julien 
suggested that it might be related to the recent problems with the build 
plugin and I might have a stale version of it. I removed 
com/twitter/scrooge* from my maven repository and still get the same 
build problem.

Scrooge folks: Any ideas how to fix it?
