Hello Ryan:

Since, this release of "Parquet-1.9.0" supports: "* Decimal, timestamp, 
and date support in Avro",  are there any test (or example) java-programs 
available for testing this functionality via "Parquet-Avro-API" ? 

If yes, could you please point me to such test-programs.

I propose the following RC2 to be released as official Apache Parquet MR
1.9.0 release. This includes a fix for column projection that was the
reason for cancelling RC1.
