The build on the rc1 tag (and on the tarball as well) fails with format
violations. mvn spotless:apply solves the issue but it is strange how that
got in. CI should have failed as well.

I've also tested signatures, the tarball content, build/tests, and a Dremio
build with the maven artifacts. All passed.
I do not have a strong opinion whether we shall fail this RC only because
of the format issue, but it worth investigating how it got in.
