Sorry, progress has kind of stalled on this. The issue is that there are really
two causes of regressions, the first is due to bugs in my new code, those are
easy for me to figure out and fix. The second is due to incorrect assumptions
in existing code which cause failures when integrated with my new
(theoretically) correct code. These are very hard to fix, because I have no
idea where in the code these problems are occurring or what subtle assumption
is the cause of the problem.
