[~tilman], does the name {{saveForExternalSigning}} is better instead of
{{initExternalSigning}}? IMHO, {{saveIncrementalForExternalSigning}} is a bit
too heavy...
If you ask me could we use {{SignatureInterface}} after the new external
feature would appear in v2.1, probably no, because so far we used it to
complement our external signing solution.
When you mentioned that "we can't change the API if we don't like it", did you
mean that this external signing feature may not appear in v2.0.* API or that
the the old {{SignatureInterface}} may not be removed?
