Tal Lowenthal commented on PDFBOX-5206:
---------------------------------------

I don't quite know what you mean by "attach your PDF and the same PDF generated
with WORD and saved as PDF". I am trying to compile two texts next to each
other, and pdfbox seemed the easiest way to do this since it is easy to control
the length of the lines and where they are placed.

I had guessed that the reason that the nekkudot are "shifted to the left" (I
attached a screenshot of the text in the IDE where it is displayed properly,
and also a pdf when I ran the code) is because the dot is placed directly after
the previous (really the next) letter, instead of basically over of the letter
its supposed to be on.

> I want to make a pdf of hebrew with nekkudot (non-letter vowel signs), but it
> prints it backwards. I tried the fix that I found online of flipping the
> string, but the nekkudot are shifted to the left.
> This could all be fixed easily if pdfBox supports RTL languages.
