by 'standalone' i just meant similar to Apache-Test, self-contained in its
own subdirectory with Makefile.PL, MANIFEST, etc. this way 2.0's
new-improved version should be able to replace 1.x's, since the Perl apis
are compatible. it will still be distributed with modperl-2.0, just as
Apache-Test is.
