Anoop Sam John commented on PHOENIX-1453:
-----------------------------------------

Not read the code.. But, in compaction , always all the Cells within a row
will come as one batch? For wide rows it might come in batches. To avoid OOME
we have to do this way . The simple count based op we can do if in all cases,
one row will as one batch. What do you say James?

> We currently collect guideposts per equal chunk, but we should also capture
> row counts. Should we have a parallel array with the guideposts that count
> rows per guidepost, or is it enough to have a per region count?
