I agree that that conversation should take place. Looks like [~rajeshbabu] is
trying to go down that road based on his unanswered questions here[1]. Is there
a plan of attack to solve this, as we have quite a bit of overlap on our two
projects ([~stack], [~apurtell], [~ramkrishna], [~anoop.hbase], [~devaraj],
[~enis], [~ndimiduk], [~lhofhansl], [~jesse_yates], [~jeffreyz])?
I don't see much consensus taking place on HBASE-12566. Just a few comments
from Sean and Elliot. Rajeshbabu has done a nice job of getting a very
important feature into Phoenix in local indexing. Users have asked for this and
are relying on it. Should we ask them to comment on HBASE-12566 too?
