Bugzilla assigns bugs to the poi-dev list. I don't know a way to
change this assignment to individuals.

If you want to track specific bugs you can include yourself in the cc
list and the search for OPEN and NEW bugs having your email in cc.
Something like this:

https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/buglist.cgi?emailcc1=1;list_id=68302;emailtype1=substring;emailassigned_to1=1;query_format=advanced;bug_status=NEW;bug_status=ASSIGNED;bug_status=REOPENED;email1=jsvede%40yahoo.com;product=POI

Will that work for you?
