Hi Eric,

Do you build in Terminal.app or in xterm?

Hmmm, good question "Programs->Tools->Console". I don't know - sorry for my ignorance - and I can't answer currently as I'm at work in front of my SunRay :-( but I will find out tonight.

If you build in xterm be aware that it uses not the default path that terminal.app does.

Terminal.app is seen as a login shell and reads out the dot configurations files that every login shell does read when its started and first the ones in your home directory.

Xterm only reads what's in the default profile/bash_profile is stored or what's in a .bashrc (at least it should but I haven't managed it yet).

Please check your enviroment settings, especially your path settings, before you try to build mozilla and see if you have /sw/bin (for fink) or /opt/local/bin (for Darwinports) in your path.

I will.

If none of my advises helps others may help you here. After Mozilla once build it always build here and I never again run into these error messages.

We will see. I don't give up! :-)

Kind regards,
Tino
