Same here for me. M109 is about to finish in a few minutes.
For me too, it works fine. I'm in hurry because I have broken my
external hard disk two days ago :-/
(I have lost all my latest changes...)
Find another one and reorganize sources from scratch takes some time...
Still a "cache" problem with the new one : build is strangely slow, and
I still haven't found why....
I want to entirely rebuild m109 to see what happens with ccache..., but
I have a backup of final packages, and fr at least works fine.
In addition to you I used Florian's create Metapackage script that
wraps the 17 packages into one metapackage. The current Issue for
this is 42998 but Pavel wrote that this issue may be wrong, so we
need to open a new one or let Eric Bachard take a look as the owner
of IZ42998.
Just say me what is the best. You know I don't decide anything. A big
problem with Mac OSX port is who decide what is to do, and coordinate a
bit the builders...
What I don't understand is *why* my issues from 42998 to 43000 are
suddenly so important ? First comments about them were LOL or something
like that, and now they "looks" serious...
My opinion is just that work is in progress, and cannot simply be made
in one day ( e.g. I have always to receive infos for big icons)
We have to choose what exactly is to do. About the planning, I think
we'll progress a lot when we meet us next week in Karlsruhe.
Important : if you want to create packages for final users, download, I
advice you, for security reasons, to verify all points discussed in
<http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=50502>
Second addition to you is a "work in progress" patch for locale
setting that Eric Bachard send me.
In fact, this patch is Kevin Hendricks patch, modified by miself for
10.4. I probably have found something else more interesting (using
CoreFoundation ) , but I had not yet the time to investigate more than
some tests (my code builds fine), because my job takes me all the time
these days.
Since the build isn't done yet I
can only tell you that the patch does not break the build.
FYI : It works perfectly for me (since around a year ;-) ). FYI , it
"was" #i44528#.
Same as in 107 with Florian's patch. Cool. So the patches may be
ready for integration into macosx08.
If you want this (and integrate other patches) , please say me *now* , I
just changed macosx08 for Ready for QA status... Else a new cws has to
be created.
Regards,
eric bachard
