Hmm, what's the best. From the users point of view an
OpenOffice.org.app that simply needs to be placed in Applications
via Drag'n'Drop would be the best. Tied on second place are the
current installation, but this forces us to do a repacking and so
the packing itsself is not integrated into the build process, and
Florian's metapackage patch which mostly is the same as our current
repacking but lacks a bit the possibility the manual packing
offers.

From the "Developers" point of view I would say that Florian's
solution may be the easiest one to intecrate.

For now we can live with different installation set from differen
builders but we should find a common packing process during
linuxtagmeeting.

The issues suddenly became important because we don't have an
installer for Mac OS X in cvs right now and Pavel is aware that we
use a packing process that needs no manual repacking as you and
sometimes I currently do for Mac OS X packages. Therefore I
proposed to use Florians metapackage patch which I use for quite
some time now and so far it hasn't failed here and it solves the
IZ50502 problem. I completely trashed m107, repaired the permission
via Disk Util, all was set fine to root:admin, installed m107 using
the metapackage and afterwards Application still was owned by
root:admin.

I don't know what you mean with big Icons but Florians OOopener
(his Startscript) has other icons then the Start OpenOffice.org.

For sure!

I will. If we have the time we will put this build on a Linuxtag CD
were we give users latest Milestone builds for all OSes. I'm not
quite sure about Mac OS X versions. The Panther builds I do and
Tino are stable and would be appreciated but what about Tiger?

Already bookmarked but up to now not in my fingers.

From my point of view you can integrate Issues IZ50016 and IZ50150
in macosx08. Florian will return today from WWDC so either we wait
and let him decide and do another cws or we take the responsibility
and integrate it now.

@Tino: What do you think?
