As you can see from the above "summary", we are not ready for RC on MacOS X.
But I too think we should make build available for users. In fact, we
already do! Ericb provide builds, maho does and me too. So we only need to
announce them and fix issues much faster...

Official builds are provided by Sun. Sun doesn't provide MacOS
X builds. QED.

I think the discussion about "official" builds is useless right now. Lets
talk about it again once we are completely in CVS and thus without
additional patches.
