the average Mac user will install XDarwin but not Apple's X11 (which is

Fink, Darwinports. Actually, looks like there's a fink port of OOo.
asari will confirm us XDarwin is or not used.
So I would like to add Apple's X11 to the 'baseline' or better to the
'requirements' and eliminate a few awkward and untested lines from the
launch script.
I'm not sure this is a good idea, but I prefer wait for other opinions.
Deleting these lines, will you save time while launching the
Application ? (I have no idea in fact)
