Hi,

where we have just clarified the baseline for OOo 2.0/MacOSX I'm wondering if we still need to support XDarwin.

IMHO : yes.

I cannot believe that the average Mac user will install XDarwin but not Apple's X11 (which is already too much for most users anyway...) But may be there are good reasons for doing so ?

Fink, Darwinports. Actually, looks like there's a fink port of OOo. asari will confirm us XDarwin is or not used.

So I would like to add Apple's X11 to the 'baseline' or better to the 'requirements' and eliminate a few awkward and untested lines from the launch script.

I'm not sure this is a good idea, but I prefer wait for other opinions. Deleting these lines, will you save time while launching the Application ? (I have no idea in fact)
