Hi,

I have downloaded OpenOffice 2.0rc3 for MacOsX (v. 10.3.9). I am
working with Impress, with two files previously created with Microsoft
Powerpoint (for Windows), and I have detected two things that appear
strange to me (I am not an advanced X11 user, so perhaps it is just my
fault):

- First, I have tried to copy a graphical object from one of the
documents (CTRL+C) to the other (CTRL+V), and it has NOT worked. Later
I have tried using the X11 copy option (#+C), but again I couldn't
paste.
Later on I have realised that I could use the "paste special" option,
which allowed me to choose "Impress 8" as one of the formats to paste,
and so I have completed the copy.
Perhaps this is the right way to do it (due to the X11 graphics
environment), but it looks quite complicated, doesn't it?

- After this, I have realised that the same thing happens when I try
to copy a graphical object from one sheet to another inside the same
document (it does no happen with text).

- And one complete different thing (more a suggestion than a bug):
when I add text to a graphical object (like a Rectangle), there's no
way I can change the text format (size, color, font) unless I select
the text inside. If I want to change the format of all the text inside
a rectangle, I can't just select the object and change it.

Well, thanks very much. GOOD JOB!!! I think this release is a great
improvement over 1.1.2!!!

Paul
