Hi all,

Is there any reasonable hope to have system-stl working with gcc 4.0.1?
I'm building with Mac OS X (PPC) and would be very interested in getting rid
of STLPort.

The default gcc on Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) is GCC 4.0.1 (Apple built)

I better mention that with visibility enabled I know that with gcc less
than 4.1.2 system stl OOo will blow up on the first time that a stl
object is passed across .so boundaries. With gcc 4.1.2 the stl headers
are protected with push pop visibility pragmas which in theory should
make it safe. Some test builds are indicated to verify this.
