Hi All, I'm working with one user who is having serious issues with the Find & Replace command, Basically, he is experiencing a lot of data loss when using Regular Expressions in conjunction with Find & Replace. Basically, he says is just removes entire sections of text randomly. If this is accurate, it's a pretty big bug.
The poster claims that the issues have been present since 1.1.3, on both Windows and Linux. He says he still has the issues in 2.0, but I can't replicate (on Windows anyway). Right now, however, he's running Linux, so I can't confirm for sure. Would anyone with a Linux box handy be willing to take a look? Do we just resolve as WORKSFORME anyway, or do we need to keep digging for a while to see if we can find out what's going on? My guess would be the right answer depends on how serious the alleged bug is... this one looks pretty serious to me, if it really exists.
