When I ran testtool, entering the command in the xterm, I didn't see
any OpenOffice.org windows that I can remember. The xterm kept saying

up, scroll a lot of output past my eye and disappear again before I
could read any of it. Those two things kept happening until the xterm
said FINISHED, after only 3 min. 58 sec..
This sounds as if you have a problem in your testtool configuration
(.testtoolrc/testtool.ini). Are you sure the files (namely master.inc)
can be found?
Try to start the testtool manually and run a single test (something
quick) and watch the outcome.
