Would it be possible to get some information about your expectations regarding the QA project ? Maybe you would like to start with application specific QA or you're interested into doing application automation. In both cases it would be helpful to get feedback. It's always helpful to work on issues esp. by confirming unconfirmed issues. By using http://qa.openoffice.org/issuelinks.html you can easily query for unconfirmed issues.
I am an "eager to be" open source community member from Finland. I am having a background in communications engineering, and would like to be a QA member where I would be granted the right to change any part of an issue.
