Hello Wilson,

if you like to help within the application related sub teams then take a look at the QA project homepage at http://qa.openoffice.org. Here you find links to the sub teams pages "Writer", "Calc/Chart", "Graphics", "Database", "Framework" and "Automation". For those who are more experienced with programming then the "API"-Team would fit well. On the pages of the sub teams you find a link "Responsibilities" means there are links to team members (and their email address) who could mentor you to join such a sub project.

Thank you for your immediate response. The purpose of joining the QA project
is to be able to acquire hands-on experience in software testing and quality
assurance. Therefore a "application specific QA" or "application automation"
would be OK. Can you tell what is the best path to follow for this process?
