Hi Thomas,
Today we would like to point you to the website for testing. All
is working but do not see it as finalized, so more changes are
still possible. We would like to know your feedback. Do you like
the easier way to get the newest Dev Builds? Do you have any
suggestions what could be made better? Do not hesitate to tell us
on the mailing lists.
Answer to question 1: Yes, I like it.
To 2: a. A possibility to get CWSes there as well.
I think theoretically yes, but CWSes are normally not completely build
and not for all platforms. For special purposes we are doing this
already, e.g., for localization. But if you want to have all CWSes for
download, then I think it would be a great effort for a small benefit.
Spreading the builds and files over the mirror network is taking several
hours, sometimes 24h or longer. For dev builds and others it's OK
because they are "surviving" some days until the next is coming. But
CWSes don't live for such a long time. After they got integrated into a
milestone, they are normally no longer interesting.
But that's just my non-developer point of view. ;-)
b. Maybe a possibility to provide someone a direct link to his/her
language version of the build. But I am not sure, if this is
possible to integrate it as well ... :(
There is a smaller link below for the milestone: "Get more platforms and
language packs, SDK builds and source tar balls" which opens another
webpage with all builds and other stuff. So, this should suit your needs.
