Hello "Datatude", *,
what is your real name, btw? It is some kind of netiquette to submit
your real name via mail client ... ;)
I did sign my message with my name, "kazar". That is the name i've used
on public mailing lists since 1993 and am perfectly fluent in
netiquette, thanks. The comment name in my email address is the company
name since I am not the only one at our company who reads & responds to
this list.
I use User Agent Switcher when I wish to spoof a Windows browser
so that I can download a Win installer for a client, although I
myself work on Mac. It does not come with Linux UA strings by
default but you can add any UA string you wish. With a little bit
of research or help from friends on this list, you can create the
UA string you need to trick the bouncer.
I do not want to trick the bouncer, just want to use my browser/OS
combination as usual ... ;)
sorry, I misinterpreted you. I had thought your goal was to download
what you need...
