I always wrote I have the maximum personal respect for the developer. My only, and hardly deniable, concern was that an issue with no description makes it hard for others to help with (or be informed about) ongoing development. > Maybe you should think about your own work on this topic. This is exactly what we had done! Have a look here: http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=dev&msgNo=21839 and, for more current information, here (Italian) http://wiki.plio.it/mediawiki/index.php?title=Firma_Digitale or here (English too, public code repository): http://ooo-xadessig-it.forge.osor.eu/en/index.html Joachim himself took part in the discussion on [email protected] and his insightful comments were taken in high consideration by our developers. This is why they were quite interested in knowing more about the issue, and surprised that they couldn't know more. > Juergen > (who sometimes feel very demotivated when he reading such things) Why very demotivated? We would be glad to help, we had made our efforts known in exactly the way you suggested, and I personally believe it is more demotivating for our developers not to be able to know what is being done... Anyway, I believe the outcome is fairly good: we got the information we needed and we can cooperate better now.
