Is the .NET client being actively maintained by anybody who is a
committer?

To Julien... Would a WCF channel work for you?
I'd be happy to look over and apply Julien's
patches but I
am not a .NET or C# expert and I don't normally work in a Windows
environment (though I do have access to Visual Studio 2008).
I'm not a C# expert either, but I do have the tools readily available
if there's nobody more expert.
If the .NET client is languishing from lack of attention,
then I think
we should encourage this contributer who seem to be willing
to bring the code base up to speed.
If a WCF channel would do the trick, stay tuned... Someone else will
provide information shortly.
