So, the issue here he's reporting boils down to this:

Storing the last printer used within a document is perhaps not such a
good idea.

This makes me wonder:

1) What's the advantage of storing the last printer used with the
document? 

2) Is there a possibility of removing the last printer information from
the file in future releases?

I personally don't see any advantage of having a persistent "last
printer used" information with the document.  I'm sure there are some
minor use case for this functionality, but the disadvantage seems to far
outweigh the advantage.
