Hi,
I think that storing the last printer might be useful, but most often it
is counterproductive.
A more useful way to handle this is:
- store last printer
- store computer name/ID from which document was printed, too
- the printer won't be relevant on a different computer
- on the same computer: this same printer might be used in the future
This are my thoughts.

Hi,
Thank you for your attention. This is just information.

So, the issue here he's reporting boils down to this:
Storing the last printer used within a document is perhaps not such a
good idea.
This makes me wonder:
1) What's the advantage of storing the last printer used with the
document?
2) Is there a possibility of removing the last printer information from
the file in future releases?
I personally don't see any advantage of having a persistent "last
printer used" information with the document. I'm sure there are some
minor use case for this functionality, but the disadvantage seems to far
outweigh the advantage.
