Fair enough. Scratch the input box idea then. That was just an idea
anyway (a bad one).
To turn of date recognition, maybe a simple control on the statusbar
will do (or a menu entry, or a short cut).
Or a modifier key. However, that does not work with csv-import and for
people unhandy with key boards.
Just some ideas.
