I did some tests on Ubuntu Linux, FreeBSD and OpenSolaris.  The Kernel
itself is running fine on all three platforms, there are some issues
with SSH on Linux (warnings, cfr.
https://issues.apache.org/activemq/browse/SMX4KNL-228) and OpenSolaris
(unable to login over SSH, collecting additional data for it).

The first problem is entirely harmless and the second one probably
won't impact that many (if any) users, so I would suggest we just
mention the problems on the release notes and get this show on the
road.
