Thoughts?

I think that provided scope is the usual practice.

Sorry for being silent lately. The commits are temporarily slowed down because I'm in the process of deprecating and removing code in the Geotk code base, to be replaced by SIS dependencies. The replacements and tests take some time...

The metadata module is not yet complete, but not far. The main parts to port in short term are:

  * Tests (especially XML ones)
  * toString() implementations
  * Miscellaneous internal types for XML marshalling of time and units.

After that point, there is two significant blocks that we could add. But we may revisit later if we want to provide them in a 0.3 release or delay them to another one:

  * NetCDF CF-1.5 to ISO 19115 bindings
  * Storage in a simple (the most possible straightforward) database

While the above could be considered as "extra" for a 0.3 release, I feel that the metadata module may seems of little use to other peoples without them.

    Martin
