Looking at the requirements mentioned at https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/SLING/Sling+NG+Launcher, the first five bullet points are exactly what is covered by the model - except that it is using maven style coordinates instead of urls - but with mvn: urls this would be equivalent. Maven coordinates have the advantage that you can merge / override them. An arbitrary url has no meaning. And the remaining two points are fine for me for the launcher - but those are outside of the model
