Robert Munteanu commented on SLING-7811:
----------------------------------------

Thanks [~cziegeler] - I'll try making the {{LoginAdminWhitelist}} require a
configuration and see where that takes us. BTW, I also started with a lowercase
property name, but surprisingly the reference name is with a capital 'W':

{code}
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<scr:component xmlns:scr="http://www.osgi.org/xmlns/scr/v1.3.0";
name="org.apache.sling.jcr.base.internal.LoginAdminWhitelist"
activate="configure" modified="configure">
  <implementation
class="org.apache.sling.jcr.base.internal.LoginAdminWhitelist"/>
  <service>
    <provide
interface="org.apache.sling.jcr.base.internal.LoginAdminWhitelist"/>
  </service>
  <reference name="WhitelistFragment" cardinality="0..n" policy="dynamic"
interface="org.apache.sling.jcr.base.internal.WhitelistFragment"
bind="bindWhitelistFragment" unbind="unbindWhitelistFragment"
policy-option="greedy"/>
  <property name="whitelist.bypass" type="Boolean" value="false"/>
  <property name="service.vendor" type="String" value="The Apache Software
Foundation"/>
  <property name="service.description" type="String" value="Apache Sling Login
Admin Whitelist"/>
  <property name="whitelist.bundles.regexp" type="String" value=""/>
</scr:component>{code}

>            Reporter: Carsten Ziegeler

>
>
> With the latest Sling Starter, the following NPE occurs in the logs. It seems
> to be harmless, nevertheless we should fix it:
> For now I assigned it to both, JCR Base and Oak Server, as it's unclear which
> one it is. Interestingly we've released Oak Server 1.2.0 but are not using it
> in the starter.
