I like the idea! I've been feeling guilty for not running more of the "committers meetings". I don't think "a lot of work" is accurate but it's enough work that it's a barrier :-) so maybe I'm splitting hairs here. That, and some worry that I may not be inclusive enough by picking a timezone convenient to me... but this doesn't stop someone from hosting a similar event at a time convenient to them.
