------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2004-09-13 11:39 ------- Subject: Re: [review] pick a project logo Christian, I agree that we're getting very close. These logos are great as always. My personal comments: > 1 - Pick out the final envelope thickness. I favor the right side. > 2 - We need to define integrated or not integrated too. This was a hard > thing [...] I agree with you there. The bottom integrated logo looks good with the higher contrast between the background and the lettering, but I don't like that color scheme as well as some of the others: I like 4.3f/4.3h better than 4.4f/4.4h (and the rest), but I do like 4.4h better than 4.3j. 4.4f might be interesting with a light background, maybe a light grayish color. I have to say, my favorite is definitely 4.3h, but with the smooth arrow, not the cut and pasted one. :-) > 3 - Define 1 (ONE) color scheme from the ones I created. 4.3h > 4.3g > 4.3f The others are cool, but I don't like them as well. I think your first instincts were not too far off. In 4.3h, I think the hue could be a bit more different between the spam envelope and the background. Maybe slightly lighter background? > 4 - I worked my ass out to try to created an apache feather with the > same drawing style than the apache logo Nah, let's just go with the smooth one. I now think it works better anyway. > Another thing, I don't know what is the timeline for you guys. I am > thinking that we'll need another iteration to get the final > version. And then start working on the different formats. We need to finish by next Monday at the latest. > PS: Some friends have tried to open PNGs in their internet explorer > browsers and get garbled stuff or the resizing issue that Loren > mentioned. It is resized on the first load, but if I just click once, I get the full size version.
