If that's the case then I'm fine with an rc3. Doc, see what happens if you run make test a second time right after you see the test with the failures. I think I've noticed something similar that seems to go away when the underlying dns has cached some results. Perhaps there is something in the way we are doing the dns queries that makes it succeptible to latencies of any kind, leading to failures in some environments when responses are not in the cache. -- sidney
