It's easy enough to create one, but that shouldn't make a difference anyway as
you are getting no response, not the incorrect response that the typo
correction would cause.

It's been a while since I debugged that code, but I recall that when I had to
see just what the resolver was doing and -D dns did not show enough detail I
edited the call to new of the dns reolver object to enable its debug flag and
used that to follow exactly what queries and replies were happening. Tedious to
follow all that, but it helped when I needed it.
