The current vote hasn't reached the bar for the SPIP to pass, so I'm closing it now. However, please note that this isn't the end of the proposal itself. We will iterate on the SPIP doc (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1qnLXm0ldHSwPSJs_Q5SzGyyTKMMEqeX5rm8Fh4rvV3E) and come up with an updated proposal. Also, the [DISCUSS] thread (https://lists.apache.org/thread/219s1xmm03xdc5rt86qn7zhxd544l0mw) will remain open for any additional feedback, and continue to serve the right place for substantive concerns about this SPIP.
